Celtic secured the Scottish Premiership title on Saturday after a commanding 5-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice Park.
The visitors got off to a strong start, opening the scoring with an own goal by Dundee United defender Ryan Strain. Celtic quickly built on their lead as Nicolas Kuhn netted twice before halftime, putting the result beyond doubt early on.
In the second half, substitute Adam Idah added two more goals, sealing a dominant performance and confirming Celtic’s championship triumph with games to spare.
The victory marked Celtic’s fourth consecutive league title and their 55th overall, bringing them level with arch-rivals Rangers in the number of top-flight titles won.
Speaking after the match, manager Brendan Rodgers, who has now claimed his 11th trophy with the club, reaffirmed his commitment to staying at Celtic, saying he is "200% committed" to the team’s future.
The match was briefly interrupted twice as Celtic fans threw tennis balls and other objects onto the pitch in protest over high ticket prices. Before kickoff, a minute of silence was observed to honor the late Pope Francis, with flags and banners raised in tribute.
Veteran winger James Forrest, meanwhile, made history by winning his 26th major trophy with Celtic, becoming the most decorated player in the club’s long history.
Celtic now turn their focus to the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen, where they aim to complete another domestic treble.
